TOTM - Here's That Rainy Day - Chord Melody Study Pt. 2 by Behn Gillece
This etude is similar to the first. It's a little faster, and most of the voicings have been adjusted to nice, wide, open voicings. Very conducive to solo vibes playing!

aloha VW ... I just release a new cd entitled " J'ourvet" this is my collaboration with steel pan artist Tom Berich. the line up is a basic instrumentation bass, drums, steel pan and vibes. im really happy with the way the Omega sounds on the recording and very honored to be Endorsing this instrument ... take a listen and please leave you comments
Clip of Mark and I playing Henry Mancini's great song "The Days of Wine and Roses". Taking after Bill Evans' great version, we play the first half of the tune in F and then modulate to Ab for the 2nd half. I like doing this. It feels like it gives a lift to the tune. Bill does this also with Like Someone in Love. He was a master of playing standards in unusual keys and various modulations.
I love Mark's comment at the end of the clip. Other clips from the gig are up on YT and include All The Things You Are, Darn That Dream, Body and Soul, Topsy and Wave.
Similar to the first, but all open voicings.
Hi guys this tune that i wrote is about pedaling and dampening technique melodies and of course interaction of both hands.
Remeber to play the accompaniment softer than the melody
