Hey Guys,

Our workshop in Poland ended on last Sunday and it was really really really... great. The location was beautiful, the castle was very classy, and the workshop time was unpayable!!!
Robert and me spended 3 hours and more per day for lessons with David and the rest of the time, we practiced!! So 7 days full of Vibes and Marimba. We played a very nice concert on Saturday and had a nice evening together. (Foto)

I just could say to everybody, if its possible for you tocome to Poland next year and take the Workshop with Elwira, Gabrielle and David, DO IT!!!!!

As many of you know, Arturo Serra is a great vibraphone player we fortunately have in Spain. For a great number of new generation jazz vibraphone players in Spain, Arturo has been (and continues being) the person who has had the things clear together with many years of a great experience in order to have been able to guide us and advice us about how to learn jazz vibes step by step in the right way. I am one of these and Arturo has been and is a mentor.

Here's a simple chord melody for our TOTM, Darn That Dream. You will find many voicings that are similar to the chord study we had, and a few modifications. Pdf is attached. Enjoy!

There's 2 weeks a year, where I just can't keep up. This is them. Between spring gigs, teaching rehearsing, I fall behind on vibesworkhop. But it's over soon and I have a bunch of lessons based on Darn That Dream, so we'll keep it going for a bit. That means Behn has to thinking of stuff! He's been posting a lot.

That's life, huh? Better to be busy then not! I leave a blog like this every spring semester every year and here it is!! But I'm almost done!
