I am fascinated by moving harmony via lines, without chords. This lesson talks about that over our TOTM Someday My Prince Will Come

Let's study the harmony a little bit! Learning the chords and studying the harmony are similar things but they can also be very different things as well. Sit at a piano make lines and work through stuff.

i soon got a gig at a vernissage where i need to play 30 minutes solo vibes (omg that will be really tough for me but it´s a cool challenge). for preparing that gig i recorded today this tune and thought i share it with you. i love that song and it´s fun to play

This forum pertains to "the school" but I am not sure I know what the school is. I assume it relates to the 500+ lessons that are contained in the site. Before I subscribe (even before I take the 24hr trial) I would like to understand the way the school operates. I took private weekly lessons for a few months a decade ago, my teacher was great and it worked well for me. I was making steady progress but since then my vibes has been neglected. I am not in a position to take private lessons now. I tried a few of the video/dvd and book instructions and they have not been very useful.

In 12 keys? PDF is attached. Might be a nice lick to put through the keys and will also give you a quick study in a 4 mallet II V I progression.

I do think when you play something through the keys you do a lot of processing in your brain.
