For the holidays, I've been playing through arrangements of tunes from Josh Gottry's collection, "A Christmas Vibe." None of the arrangements are too difficult, just fun to play through for the season. Here's me playing one of my favorite Christmas tunes, "Pat-A-Pan." Happy Holidays!
hey,
i wish you all happy x-mas.just a recording for fun...but it´s not easy trying to be george michael.
p.s.
the drums and vibes a real the rest was done by the malletkat
trust me there´s vibes in it :)
solo vibes:
when playing rubato the vibes sound full,
but when I start to create steady time the full presence isn't there, when you think "wow I wonder where the bassist is"
any thoughts on how to play solo vibes and make the song feel not empty?
Hi everybody! Would love to hear your thoughts of my recording thanks!
Hi folks,
One more lesson dealing with a basic concept- using upper structure triads to build lines. Here I suggest the use of tri- tone subs with an otherwise same approach.
