Dear all,
Here are some news from Joe Locke: about to play a gig in Winnipeg, he had to undergo an emergency appendectomy.
Luckily, all went fine. He'll have to stay in the hospital for 3 days and then on his way home for recovery.
His manager Tom Marcello nicely kept us informed and just gave us those latest good news...
Let's all wish Joe a prompt recovery, good times back and to see him back on board... and on stage!!

Hi ,
This video is somewhat special for me... It's the last time I played vibes ! As some of you know, I'm now in Warsaw without a vibes since October.
So just before leaving France, I recorded this in my parent's living room with a good friend of mine.
I tried to put into application what I learned from the TOTM My romance.
A little concept exercise.
Warren is a pretty heavy cat in my book!
I think Diane plays this just great. The melody is so beautiful that we decided not to take any solos. I like it when singers just play a ballad straight down, one time.
Hi all!
As you might know I recently became dad of a cute baby son which makes me very happy BUT at the same time it keeps me off the vibes. Anyway I try to keep in touch with music by playing guitar (much lower volume possible) and today at the office the idea popped up to play Tony's Song for Meg in a 4/4 rhytm. What you hear is something like a practice tape with the first attempts to play it this way. I simply wanted to give a proof of life and share the idea.
So sorry no vibes involved but I will try to get back to the vibes soon
I thought this might be of interest to check out. It's a good shot of the instrument and the sticks. So now you can see when I hit a wrong note and how exactly I did that!
