Heres an uptempo version of darn that dream that I arranged for my jazz group last year. It was adapted from the Montgomery's version, with george shearing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpL4-1_byhc). Enjoy!
Hi all,
I just thought about making a little reminder/suggestion to help our TOTMs be clear, fun, organised, and of course easy to get back to, after we switched to the next tune :
TOTMs are first of all lessons from Tony, Behn and/or a few other guys. You will always find back all these posts in the V-BOOKS, into the "Lesson and Technic" section, under the TOTM subsection, and put together by tune (as you may guess it's not done automatically and requires a close follow up and a little work).
Selling Musser Provibe Bars and resonators Vintage 1975 A440. These are beautiful sounding bars and resonators from back in the day when they sounded great. The resonators do not have the fans in them but I will send the fans along too if you want to reconstruct them for use with the motor. $1500.OBO The bars and resonators are silver matte show normal signs of wear and sound fantastic.
Thanks
Piro

Darn that Dream!! Tony and Behn are getting "out of control" posting so many great lessons to study this beautiful tune from all its aspect! Come and join us! If you’re not a subscriber, don’t miss our "Lesson of the Month" accessible for all members for a few weeks! And as usual testimonies, discussions, info on gears, announcements, projects, and musical posts from some of our members. Don’t forget tomorrow Sunday, is Gloria’s 3rd anniversary of her great 100% good vibes radio show!
I won't tell you who the players are because this is an imperfect recording. But I thought it would be fun to listen to for several reasons.
The drummer and basist are GREAT players. All over the world cats.
Listen to:
The bass player learning the tune. He doesn't really know it, but he's figuring it out on the fly. He screws up the form for the first couple choruses. He has something else in his head. That happens a lot.
BUTTTTT listen to my solo. First chorus they are in 2 and then they kick it into 4. Can you hear that? They make the whole thing come alive.

Like two years ago we have to thank the great saxophone player Rosario Giuliani to include Joe in his team to play at the Paris club "Sunside". This time were played all compositions by Rosario from his latest album "Images" with Dary Hall (db) Joe La Barbera (dr.) and Roberto Tarenzi (piano).
It's pretty interesting doing a Kickstarter Campaign. It's interesting partly because of the feedback from other musicians. Some like it, some are indifferent and some are very negative about it. Our lead singer was on a gig recently and a musician was yelling at him about our Kickstarter campaign.
Check this out!
